Here: — made in POV-Ray and Gimp. Oooold times…

Photography, obviously.

If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?

Traditional drawing and paiting. The old masters knew how to captivate attention.

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?

I think it's photography, and a close second place is for digital deviations.

Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?

Frankly, I have no idea. I think I don't have one all–time favourite artist. It'd be… limiting?

If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?

Everyone from my devWATCH of course!

How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?

The whole community is impacting me, by constantly inspiring me, tutoring, evoking emotions…

What are your preferred tools to create art?

Any photosensitive element with a nice optically perfect piece of glass in front of it.

What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?

Place doesn't matter — it's who I'm with what matters. And she is all that matters for me.

What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?

Seriously, I can't limit it to one memory! But ok, you want one memory? Here is it: joining DeviantART, long time ago, when it was all about skinning applications, the community was small, but growing quickly.

Ok, one more memory — you're in my mind every time I create something, because a big part of what I do, and how I do it came from this community, from othr deviants, from comments, from looking at other deviations… Stay devious, friends!

My deviantART Story? Well, it was long, long time ago, March 3rd 2001 to be exact, the day I landed here. Origins? Customize, LiteStep and so on. But I was a lurker then. It changed a bit when I made my first — The Perfumed Garden by burning-giraffe


But one of the first deviations I remember the most is Other's Cinderellas Dreams by NaIniE — I'm still in awe that this beautiful image was created with only a mouse and not a tablet.


There are deviations where the image is strong, but the description can simply blow your mind — it was the case when I stumbled upon The Logic of Crocodiles by fetology101.


How could I forget about Pinup superhero by ladymorgana — a signed version with #2 edition number owned by me.
 

And when you spend too much time in the dark corners of dA, what's better to shine some light than a bunch of Phausis Reticulata with lovely SusanCoffey?

I always knew that The've lied to us all [by jjnaas], but then dt happened and we got a glimpse of the inner workings of devART.


I will always remember fondly the :devdeviantartgear: — especially the Artists United shirt with design from reyjdesigns —

Oh, you all get it now, right? I have absolutely no time for doing any kind of art. And even if I find time to shot some photos — I then have no time to upload them anywhere, not even thinking about processing them somehow.

But more and more people tell me, that I need to put my words (Make a blog! — I hear you, dammit!) and my photos (Show me, show me! — oooh, shut up!) to the net for you all to chew it. I guess I finally need to have a vacation, and spend a week maybe on sifting the photos, choosing the best ones, preapring some kind of folio, and dumping it all there. Yeah, right… Wish me luck.
